Reaching Young Voters

Last night I recieved an invitation on Myspace to join General Wesley's group that was made for his 2008 presidential campaign. The General has found a great way to reach young voters - going to the most popular Internet hotspot and reaching out through group invites to spread his message.

As the years progress, the use of the Internet for campaigning grows. This will defintely be an interesting trend to follow. Also, I would like to see how this impacts the campaign finance issues. Is it cheaper to use the Internet? Or in reality, will the politicians discover that it can be cheaper to use the Internet?

Also, I am reading John Stossel's book Give Me A Break. If you have ever wanted to know the truth about our government, scientific studies, the legal system, and so much more, I recommend this book. I have become enlighted by Stossel's findings and have come to describe myself as a Stosseltonian (my own word, thank you).
