I found Justice Breyer's example a bit unnerving. If a 15-yr old girl comes into a hospital with high blood pressure, should the doctor quickly decide she should have an abortion? I wonder what would happen if a 30-yr old woman came into the same hospital at the same time, with the same problem, if the doctor would immediately think she needed an abortion. I liked Justice Scalia's comeback about the doctor not having time to put on gloves.
